I got a qoute at around the same cost so i ended up doing it my self. The hardest part was heat shrinking the rear window so it conforms to the curvature of the glass.

Ceramics and Carbons are expensive but worth every penny. If you live in a hot climate they really cut down on UV and Heat transmission. If you live in a colder climate and don't care about cutting out the heat from the sun then go with regular tint for looks. Much cheaper.

I had Madico Wincos Ceramic tint installed on my car and it was over $300. Works like a charm here in Los Angeles though so I am really pleased with it.

Best tint I have ever had on any car. Period.

make sure it's a place with a good reputation & has a good warranty. I got mine done in October and noticed a few tiny bubbles on a couple of the windows ( most nobody else noticed them ) and I took it back. They just re-did all the windows for me without question.
