Maybe but not always, it probably is just a little out of spec where the cam hits the striker for that side

Mine just developed that noise yesterday, and its not coming from the turn signal. It's coming from up front near the right side of the vehicle. It is accompanied by a slight "rough spot" in the steering wheel as you turn it.
    Any ideas?
im hoping the dealer can find something.
Nice monster truck! Sorry to hear about your p*nis.

do some searching for steering intermediate shaft and "clunk" maybe that is your problem. One of our Abarth's had that noise, dealer changed the shaft, noise gone.

    Thank you!
update: it had been storming all day yesterday through the night. It has been clearing out and drying up today and now the noise and sensation is gone. Weird. I think I'll still ask to have that shaft looked at just to see.

might also be the plastic piece between the steering wheel and the cluster ( that surrounds the ignition ). Mine was loose and would move a little bit. Check to make sure it is seated around your ignition properly.

I'd check to see if you don't have any road debris near the steering rack - that would give you the rough feel in the steering as well as some sort of noise as it fought thru whatever is causing the resistance

otherwise, if you feel it in the wheel like that, it just might be the rack itself...
