    Billet Oil Filter Housing Cap

I received my GruvenParts Billet Oil Filter Housing Cap, excellent quality. Doing my first oil change on my Abarth this week-end and will be installing this along with a Gold Plug magnetic oil drain plug.

Nice, but that's like 4 complete oil-filter changes. $160 is just over the top to me.

Th reason for this isn't to look pretty (though it does), but rather because the stock cap sometimes cracks. If that happens you're dead in the water waiting for a replacement.

That's exactly the reason - plus not being able to rounding off the nut. I read a few horror stories about the oil cap cracking and replacements taking some time to get. Also, because it's aluminum it will conduct heat and help cool the engine! (just kidding)

Did my first oil change. I used the method described by using a long socket extension with a swivel joint and socket going in from the top. Pretty easy oil change, not messy at all - all in it took about 20 minutes. The Billet Oil Filter Housing Cap threaded into the filter housing base beautifully. I am very interested in seeing if the magnetic oil drain plug picks up any shavings when I do the next change.

If I had to rank all of the things that are a collosal waste of money, this would not be on the top.

    But it would be close!
