I definitely thought/felt this car was a bit quicker. I did a pull in my stock pickup. To my surprise it ran what I was hoping the 500e would run. Still working on the 500e footage.

Totally. you can feel it start to fall off about 45 and above 50 its slow. Off the line and up to mid 40s though its in line with a much faster car.

...drag racing prep shop from Japan called Escort Racing... the rim spun inside the tire as the white line is no longer aligned where it was. It can def happen, probably not our cars...
Exactly. I was assuming front wheel drive with street tires.

As for acceleration dropping off at speed, don't try to race a Spark except from a stop: With its higher gearing, from 0-30 its about 14% slower (enough that you can cut in front), but from 30-50 & 50-70 it's about 20% quicker.

AC on or Off no major difference. 70A fuse pulled no difference.
Humidity sensor unplugged?

With it plugged in, my 2013 A/C compressor often turned itself on, WITHOUT lighting the A/C button! Maybe yours was running the whole time, even when you had the switch off.

ESC will allow standing start wheel spin, as you'll see in rain. Since you weren't getting wheel spin already, I shouldn't have expected any difference by turning ESC off with the switch OR fuse.

Nice!

The only way to know that the A/C compressor won't turn itself on is to unplug the humidity sensor, who's sole "purpose" seems to be to help defog the windshield in case you didn't notice that you can't see the road . It is VERY prone to false-positives, & everything works perfectly with it unplugged, including storing the plug inside the cover.
