Hi all,

I don't recall the car doing this until recently (I've only owned it about 10 days). When I start the car, regardless of order of seatbelt, key in ignition, start the motor, I get this "Pew, pew, pew" sound. See video below. It happens at the end, after the brief appearance by Iron Maiden on the radio. Anyone know what that sounds mean? I can't find anything online nor in the user's manual.

I went out to the garage today, got down on my hands and knees and started the car - it sounds like it's coming from the boost gauge.

Mystery solved (Thanks Google!), found someone on a Dodge Ram forum who described the noise as I do, as a high pitched "pew, pew, pew" and it is indeed an aftermarket security device - it's a Karr SWAT module, which the stealership had installed and we declined to buy (as well a a forever battery thing and some kind of clear coat, all of which they wanted $1000 each for, and had already been installed).

Now, I have to figure out how to uninstall it, and possibly get it deactivated.
