Hello to all fellow Fiat 500 owners and fans! I have had mine for about 2 months and loving every drive! I enjoy it more than the "other car" in everyday LA traffic! I probably went through 4 different decal schemes and settled on the "Abarth Inspired" look! Not trying to be a poser but just love the color scheme (at least no scorpion badges)!!!!! I'm on the fence about giving it a mild drop as I love the compliant suspension of the Pop model. Can't decide if I want the look vs. keep the comfort:confused:

I'm one of those people that have "relationships" with their cars and the Fiat is simply perfect for having a "relationship". She is a young, fresh, if not the most mature and capable addition to the garage:D. Looking forward to sharing our ownership experiences together! Cheers~

Thank God, you didnt actually write "ABARTH" on the side panel strips.. J/K :)

Looks good, especially the red side mirror covers!
Thanks! Haha. Yeah..... I'm hoping to not to cross that fine line.... I've gotten some good laughs in the past driving past a regular 3-series BMWs with M badges on them.
Very cool car. I wouldn't drop it. Your car sits perfect,,,why mess with perfection.
I like it. Did you buy the caps painted? Get the H&R springs, they are comfortable and give the car a nice leveled stance.
My mother in law's car looks just like that. She has the C though.
I want to do this, my wife hates any stripes.
By the way, the picture of your car made her want my wheels.
I think the other models should get the sport wheel option. Hate restrictions.
So I'll say it again, stripe or no stripe

I vote no on the stripe and yes to a giant 0 and 1 on the door. Then jump it just before a commercial.

I'd have to weld the doors shut and stop my car in mid air for 120 seconds. I say no to the stripe also, on mine at least. I saw one on youtube with stripes on the hood. Didn't mind it, wife says no. Yes, they put dual exhausts on it.

I have a pearl white sport. I had the side stripe shown above put on my car but I had mine painted red. I like it a lot.:D
Painted? You are a brave soul, lol. My concern is fading. I'll probably keep it classic looking with all the chrome. If it were a Pop, I'd consider the stripe.
Like your bottom strip, and red mirrors.

It all works

Thanks, the original caps were taken off and painted by a body shop. I really like the ride height on yours with the H&Rs. Can you help by describing "comfortable" in a bit more detail? Also, how did you arrive at H&R instead of Eibachs?

Even though I have stripes, I would vote no for yours. It looks great already especially with the sports wheels and the lowered ride height. I think the side mouldings add visual interest to the lower part of the car and also helps the car look wider on the bottom.... this is the same effect my stripes have on my POP (which lacks the side moulding or the pannels such as on the sport models). I think the cabrio with chrome bits and side moulding gives it an elegant look that may become diluted with stripes.

Well, when my wife doesn't complain about the harshness, it's comfortable. Seriously, this is the first mod I did and highly suggest it just so you don't feel like the car is going to tip over on those 180 sweeps.

The H&R's give the car a more leveled look as opposed to the Eibach's. I've had both brands on various cars and love my decision. There's a thread just on the H&R topic if you poke around. Some people suggested cutting bump stops on the rear and most of those were from the Eibach side. I didn't cut anything and have had zero issues. Tire Rack seems to have the best price for the H&R's, $187 or something like that.
