Very positive comments. I have also seen some lukewarm reviews from other sources. I predict dealers here in the USA will become quite busy when gasoline hits $4. I don't know what the trend is up North there for fuel prices.

Are you in Victoria Jay? And have you bought The Car yet? I'm in Vancouver and will likely buy in the fall.

Andy A,

We're currently paying $1.30, plus or minus, for a litre. So, that is a bit under $5.00 per US gallon. Our gallon is bigger (160 oz vs 132 oz). Prices vary by 10 cents a litre /40 cents / US gallon depending on where you live here on the coast.

I just can't imagine driving around at 20 mpg and not wanting to get really angry. Clearly, I'm not a truck kind of guy.

First fill-up: 42.9 mpg

My first fill-up I put exactly 8 gallons in after travelling 343 miles. Not sure how it will average. But I know I can get 40 mpg now. This was a lot of rush-hour stop-and-go. But this city car just eats it up. I don't even use the brakes a lot, mostly down shifting to slow down.
