Hello, I am new here. i have an 2013 500 turbo. for the last 6 months i have been rebuilding the engine. i have installed the engine and have yet to put coolant into the system. currently just trying to start the engine and make sure it runs before i get the rest of the car ready. i have fuel to engine i have spark and air. she cranks but wont start. can anyone help me?

The Multi-Air cylinder head has to fill with oil to activate the intake valves. Don't know if there is a procedure for a brand new engine. Cars that have been sitting for weeks/months need to be cranked like 10-20 times to get oil pumped up into the actuators. Of course you have to let the starter cool down in between and keep a battery charger hooked up. The exhaust valves have a regular camshaft.

Perhaps lack of coolant is causing the sensor to prevent a start.
