Functional scoop could be

The hood scoop can be made functional, I have made a fiberglass box that connects to the stock air box plenum, I am running a K&N drop in filter for max surface area. Since my car has only about 500 miles on it I just have not been able to bring myself to whack a hole in the brand new hood. Also I don't know how my dealer/warrantee situation might be affected by creating a ram air system. I will do it eventually but maybe not until after warrantee is expired. Fog lights are critical in Oregon, at least 4 days this week and I go to work at 5:30am so I use them all of the time. I kept the chrome lens shields for rocks from the local giant pickups and trucks, but they do pop right off. They came from the Madness guys and I love them. Very useful here in soggy land.:)
