Yesterday was extremely cold, so I started the engine of my Fiat, and let it run for about 15 minutes. After I pulled away, I noticed a rather large spill of antifreeze in the snow. This morning, I checked the coolant level in cold condition and it was about an inch below the minimum marker.

I went to a local Chrysler dealer, ( no Fiat Studio) nearby, and they suggested I fill the reservoir, until I can get to a Fiat service dealer.

Now my question. I cannot get the filler cap open. It turns a quarter turn, but from that point it does not lift, nor turn any further. I tried pushing, or pulling, but the entire reservoir moves, and I am afraid to crack it in this bitter cold. Does anyone know how to open it? I am at a loss.
