Hi All,

I've just gone to change the pollen filter on a 2012 fiat 500 twinair and noticed what looks to be some sort of sensor that has clearly come disconnected from somewhere and is flapping around in the footwell.

Picture below...

Could anyone let me know what this is and where it should be fitted ?

thanks in advance...

Is it hooked up wire wise to something?
Yep wires are connected to it, the purple section can be moved up and down so at first I thought it was a brake switch sensor and it should be connected to hole on the steel plate which moves when applying the foot brake. However googling a brake switch, it looks completely different. The wires disappear up into the foot well.

No warning lights in the car and everything is working ok so just not sure what it is !?
