So, I gave up trying to change my coolant yesterday. First, the radiator petcock would turn but would not screw out. I tried turning and pulling g but no go. What's the trick?
I then tried removing the lower radiator hose on the passenger side but couldn't get it off. I pulled the spring clip all the way down but the plastic fitting wouldn't come off.
I decided to stop and try again next weekend. I also ordered a new hose assembly because the hoses looked a bit swollen. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

You’re on the right track with the spring clip. The hose can still be a bit of a pain. I used a 1/4” socket extension and light taps from a hammer to push the connector back toward the engine. I’m not sure about the petcock problem.
