Smart people of the forum.

How do I unplug this without breaking? This is a HV component connection, there are a few of those under the hood. An older DELPHI model, so I cannot find any documentation.

If I try to pull the white tab, it seems to bend down towards the big orange plug and won't move. Maybe there's a lock hidden somewhere?

I did not even touch the second one, I would think this is plastic deterioration or somebody tried something before me, haha.

Anyway, I was told that first you need to unlock and unplug the small black connector and then go through the locks of the orange one. Will try it.

HV connectors are tricky, I can tell you that.

So the white tab has a lock under the black connector. Once you remove the black connector (pulling out the red tab first), you can press the lock and undo the white tab. The ones I'm doing are muddy so it will take a while, but I will try to post some pics.

I did not do the tests, but found that the resistance between HVPDC and the body was below the 200 kOhm limit, which means "vehicle inop", and could be the reason why the contactors would not close (and even if there is another reason, you still need to deal with the LOI first - a LOI should disable everything anyway).

Unplugged the battery heater and the resistance jumped up. So I'm in the process of trying to understand what to do next.

I wonder if the vehicle would get into ready status with a HV component disconnected. I spoke to one shop in our province, and they say "it might or might not". So trying to get more intel on that.
