Hi all,
I've had a strange problem with my Fiat 500 2012 Pop. A few weeks ago my radio stopped working it had no power at all. The lights behind the hazard warning light, fog light, city mode, demister, start/stop and window buttons remain lit as though the headlights are on, even when they aren't.

My radio suddenly came back on the other week requesting the code. I entered it and it is working with no problem, but when I turn my headlights on, the radio screen goes off. The radio still plays and all the centre console lights are still on.

Has anyone had a similar problem?

welcome to the forum here. Never heard of your radio lighting issue. Sound like their is a issue with the radio itself. I really don’t know. These cars, run off of software. You might want to try hooking you up a code reader. See you can pull some codes. A Fiat specialist, can’t even go deeper when they hook up a computer to your car. Pinpoint the exact problem.

I've never heard of that specific issue either. You may want to check the usual suspects, inspect ground points: clean and reattach, check your battery and charging system. When you are losing power or ground, the CANBUS system starts to behave erratically.
