I recently bought a 1.4 sport and I'm kinda wanting to do a boosted build in the future. I am hoping to eventually make between 200 and 250 hp and I want to build the engine up to handle that cause I'm in no mood to break Shii. could someone give me a run down of all the vitals I should replace and possibly a supplier for those parts. also would the stock diff transmission and axles handle those amounts??

What's Shii?

The answer is rather simple - it's called Abarth engine and transmission.

I'm not being facetious here. If you want to build the engine from the NA 1.4, you need to do what Fiat did with Abarth - forged internals, strengthened parts, etc. The NA transmission won't be able to cope with 200hp, but Abarth unit can.

Sell the Sport and buy an Abarth or later year 500 which were all turbocharged.

you're basically going to need to swap out the entire drivetrain with the abarth stuff, and then you need to swap out all the wiring and computers to abarth stuff as well. it's much easier to start with the abarth than it is to build an entire one on your own

you can go down the 500 sport turbo route, but i don't know what else that car has done to it, i know all the computers and wiring are different
