no charge

My partner left the car on with key in the ignition overnight and this morning it was dead, and couldn't pull the key out. Only after we hooked up a jump start were we able to dislodge key. However, plugging the car in no lights showed on dash indicating it was charging. And now it doesn't look like its charging at all and still dead. What to do?
