Rear brake calipers

253 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  smark
I've got a 2013 500e in need of a left rear brake caliper. I had read that these use the same calipers as the other 500s. So, I bought another caliper (reman) and it turns out that the mounting bracket and the parking brake bracket are different from the the old caliper. Looking at ebay it seems like the 500L caliper looks like what's on my car. Do the 500L and the 500e share the same rear calipers?

Try your local Chrysler Dealer. The Parts Department has all the 500e parts in the computer catalog. You can get the part number. Maybe the parts guy can survey other local dealers with the caliper in stock. If not, look on GOOGLE for "Mopar Parts," look nationwide, and have it shipped to you.

Yeah, as dumb as this is it didn't occur to me to check with a dealer until after I'd posted. ;) Thanks!
Both cars have nothing in common.
Try this site, for your correct rear caliper part.
