Hey all, so for the past 2 oil changes I have taken it to the local Fiat dealer, and it would drive home just fine. However, the next morning the car would run rough and the check engine light would turn on. I restart the car and then try driving, but the car will not rev past 2800. It also appears as though I'm burning a little bit of oil. The last time this happened, I scheduled another appointment with the dealer, but before I could bring it back in the problem resolved itself.

Has anyone else had this issue? Does my dealership stink? Any suggestions? Thanks y'all!

Sounds like your car, is going into its limp mode. After the check engine lamp goes on. Buy a scan gauge. You need to see if your getting some engine codes.

I'm experiencing the same thing - 2013 FIAT 500 POP. The codes I'm pulling up indicate a Multi-Air malfunction. As the oil supply is an integral part of the air distribution, there must be a connection. Have you checked your oil level when the problem occurs? A quick fix for my limp mode - I pull over and turn the car off and back on. This is a pain, but works...usually. I'm trying to find the right combination of oil level, grade, etc. to get the Multi-Air system back on track.

Sorry for the delay in response y'all. I ended up swapping out the spark plugs and ignition coils, that has fixed things!
