Thanks for posting the link. I found the interview interesting and insightful. Although I may have my own opinions about the "bailout" of Chrysler by the USG I am encouraged by Mr. Marchione. He has the opportunity to truly make FIAT/Chrysler a top contender worldwide. Having the Toluca Assembly plant in Mexico, combined with the rail access there both to South and North America plus the Port of Lazaro Cardenas gives FIAT/Chrysler excellent access to Canada, American, Asian and Latin America exports which will only serve to increase sales/profits. Now, lets see how this unfolds.
Watched and listened to it several times. Sergio Marchionne seems amazing. I loved how he got rid of the Chrysler hierarchical bureaucracy and supposedly combed through the company to find 26 leaders. And that he stays on the floor level of the engineers.
