Just installed my Flowmaster 12635, leaving the resonator in place. $165 at the local muffler shop, parts and labor. Here is a comparison of the sound...keep in mind these sound recordings were done pretty close to the muffler to get a good idea of the change. The new Flowmaster is definetly louder, but is by no means loud or annoying. There is a little more sound, but the real change is the ridiculous change in pitch...the flowmaster is so much more of a deep sound it pretty much clipped my $300 recording mic.

I have made no changes to the pitch/equalization of these sound clips, there are raw, out of the recorder.

Sounds great! Pictures would be most appreciated...I did not find that part# on the Flowmaster site. Did you mean to say Magnaflow?

Please keep in mind it isnt much louder than stock, its noticeable, but not overtly obnoxious. Its more the overall tone that is changed.

My local shop has a magnaflow on their 500. I actually got to drive it today. What a difference in sound! It is fantastic! Much throatier and overall great deep sound. I'd definitely buy one if I had the money. The dual tips look good as well.
