I know this question has likely been asked a million times, but can anyone tell me for certain if I should be using synthetic oil in my 2015 Fiat 500 Lounge? Thanks.

You can use either. Personally, I've only ever used synthetic and continue to do so in my 500, but if you're diligent with your oil changes, you can use regular oil and change it no more than 5,000K kms

Since day one 2011, I have only use synthetic motor oil in my the Fiat 500.
The what Fiat recommended, after
the 2013 model year.

Same for our Kia soul, smart car, Honda fit, Honda accord, and the jeep renegade.

I haven’t used Dino oil in any of my vehicles for 14 years now.

Of course, the prize is a lack of metal shards in your oil

I’ve been using synthetic oil in my 2013 for a few years now. Have no issues with metal shards in the oil as it flows into the drain pan. Good stuff

Check for an oil spec in your book - mine calls for MS-10725 and the only ones that meet the spec are synthetic.
