There are several random post and opinions but I wanted to make a post putting together what works.
The 500e has a very "sensitive" can bus system that will hate you if you change the filament bulb. So after several testing I will put the leds that works, the Amazon link and the picture and brand (in case the amazon link dies).

Front:
Main lights:

Type: 9012
Link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082KRN5DY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Notes: The selling says that wont fit 500, but it will, dont worry. Almost any led light will work. Just be sure that is not to big so wont hit the dust cap. This model has external led driver (a little box in the cable) that you need to glue somewhere or just leave it hanging inside the housing.

Front Running Lights:
Type: 7440/7443
Link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W7HVS57/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Notes: Be sure to get the "White color" (this can be fund in red and amber too... ) Couldn't find any that wont trigger the error. BUT, if you disable the running lights (from menu) so they are not always on. When you turn on your lights they will turn on too and NO error (no matter what led bulb you put) looks like the can bus only work when is on all time running lights mode.

Front Turn Signal:
Type: T20 7440 7443
Link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09184277K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Notes: Get the AMBER version. These were the ONLY ones that didnt trigger the can bus error and blinked at the correct speed. So they are the correct load. Be careful, front an rear blinkers are not the same type.

Anti Fog:
Type: H11
Link: TBA
Note: Still testing some models

Side markers:
Front blinker-side markers:

Type: Specific shape, internal T10 Bulb
Link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08F7JKP6C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Note: there are several models. There is NO can bus error here, you can just replace the T10 with a LED one. Or replace the whole housing, like the one linked

Side markers:
Front blinker-side markers:

Type: Specific shape, internal T10 Bulb
Link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08F7JKP6C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Note: there are several
Front and Rear Side running lights.:

Type: Specific shape, internal T10 Bulb
Link: For 11-19 Fiat 500 500e Smoke Front + Rear LED Side Marker Lights Driving Lamps | eBay
Note: Again there are several after market models, I preffer the ones that are ALL led, not just at the top like the stock ones

Rear:
Rear Blinkers:

Type: 7507 PY21W
Link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RMX2XK6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Note: This is where the car gets very European :). These were the only led bulbs that worked for me, no error, correct blinking speed.

Rear Normal/Brake:
Type: 1157 BAY15D P21/5W
Link:
Note:
I tried everything, but eventually they will trigger the can bus error. Looks like the car is VERY sensitive. I got a model that will work in running light mode, but will hit the can bus error when pressing the brake for couple of seconds. And then the car will shut down the whole light until the next power cycle :( So for now, those are the only keeping in "filament"

Rear Reverse Light:
Type: 912 T15
Link: Note: The 500e is literally the only car that I owned/worked on that has can bus on the reverse light. Not even the BMW, Mercedes, Jeep, etc. Is plug an play, in my case I had to remove the tag, since it had a frame that wont leave space to take the light out.

Tag Light:
Type: 1157 BAY15D P21/5W
Link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082WZV7VT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Note: My 500e (2015) came with non-so-bright but LED tag light. I replaced with this model that are way more brighter, helps the car to be seen :D

Interior:
Map, Over the head light:

Type: "Festoon"
Link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081RDMPZK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Note: My I bought this kit, you can easily use the double side stick and fix them inside the housing and use the Festoon adapter, Will bright great and now you can actually see stuff inside the 500 during the night. They come in 4 pieces So you can use 2 for the map light and I reused 2 for the trunk light

Trunk:
Type: T10
Link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081RDMPZK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Note: MI reused the kit that that used for the map light, sticking 2 of them outside the stock housing and using the t10 adapter, connecting both to the same terminal. Any t10 will work, not too big, there is no much space inside the light housing.

Hope I can edit this post latter to add more info. And hope this helps somebody. I spend a lot of time testing hahaha

Thanks for Reading!

Thanks again for this exhaustive post!

On the Headlights, I personally prefer these given the higher lumen output:
"HIKARI 2022 HyperStar 9012/HIR2 20000LM Wireless LED Bulbs" as recommended in another thread.
... they arrived and they work VERY well - this car is actually drivable at night!

Re: everything else, I copied what you recommended above - and most of them are arriving later today. I hope to find time to install them all.

I just received and installed the Euro taillights from MS-Racing this week, and I've got a request out to TheRetrofitSource regarding whether they have any success cases in Fiat 500s for the P21/5w (1157) bulbs from any of their LED manufacturers. Will update here if we get any good news once I'm able to try some out.

Thank you for doing this research and actually finding some solutions. :)

I already have working LED headlights, but was having trouble with front running lights, front turn signals and rear reverse lights.

so, I purchased the front and rear turn signals and reverse lights you recommended and YEAH! - it works! no CAN bus errors, hyperflashing or flickering.

I also purchased the interior lights, because I think it would be valuable to replace them - the holders in my car were damaged from the heat of the incandescent bulbs. However, I had some problems with the lights in the "festoon" kit.
1) the connectors for the LED lights/"universal" connectors have to be strung together to work are very marginal - definitely not "automotive" quality. The automotive environment is can see some pretty extreme temperature swings and vibration. For example, when I took apart the map light holder, it was mid day and the heat from the roof nearly scorched me. Electronics don't do well in high temperature environments. Also, I tried sticking supplied glue pads to the back of the holder, only to have the glue fail in 1 day of sitting in my driveway.
2) the rear trunk light stays lit/flickering long after the rear hatch is closed. When the car is charging, it is on @ about 3/4 intensity. When the car finishes charging, it stays on, flickering at about 1/4 intensity. It never actually turns off. This may not be apparent in the daytime, but at night it shows up clearly. I don't want anything on when I turn "off" the car, because it will drain the 12V battery. I know these flickering LED's don't draw much power, but a few of them could lead to an issue if the car is left unplugged for a week or more.

I took out the interior lights due to these problems. I've ordered some "CAN bus compatible" Festoon lights for the interior map light. If this works, I'll post the source. Warning - they were about $20 ea. :(

I purchased some front running lights a while ago (not the same as the ones recommended) and am having issues with CAN bus errors, the light flickering @ about 1/4 intensity while charging, and a very dim flickering when charging is complete. Ideas from anyone?

Thanks again for the research and this thread! :)

Bought these headlights today with OPs DRLs. Hopefully it looks good. Will update after I install.

I put some installation tips for those in post #82 here:
They retain the super-low OEM angle setting, so make sure to adjust them:
EDIT: It looks like @BradyReal has a gas version, so the above may not apply exactly.

I think i'd like to try these. They seem kind of pricey at $99.
Is there a cheaper product, as good? I'm used to paying like $35 for LED headlight bulbs.

Just wanted to post here for people looking for another potential option for front turn signal LED’s. Well I’ve found some new ones (just came out) that work very nicely for our vehicles from Oxilam. Great bright LED’s with built in cooling fans as well which is cool to see, which will greatly extend the life of the LED’s since these ones are powerful 8w each. They are only $25 as well, vs the $40 ones listed here from Alla lightning which are great too but these are cheaper and just as good. Just installed them and they work perfectly no errors, very bright (not too bright though) and I’m gussing will last a long time given the design. Nice upgrade for sure, makes the car stand out nicely. Oxilam certainly makes good products, have their rear LED turn signals too. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BCK9YP11?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Just installed the headlight, side marker light, license plate late and backup lights. All work great.

Would like to replace the interior light above driver and rear trunk light. What's the best recommendation?

Aso isnt. There a post on leveling the headlight or something ?

And what about brighter fog lights?

Swapped out the halogens for the LED a few ppl recommended - HIKARI 2022 from Amazon. That passenger side was a PITA, I started to remove the reservoir bottles a lot of wiggling got my bigger hand far enough in to twist off the cap and then replace the bulb. Regarding the light housing caps, the new bulbs have an embedded fan, and while the cap can screw back on, it's really a tight fit like right against the back of the bulb where the fan is. Should I leave the cap off or on or drill some holes in it for additional ventilation?

Lastly I'm looking at compatible tail LEDs that @Dylan suggested, but to replace those bulbs how difficult to remove the tail light assembly?

I have Hikari "Acme X" LEDs & the OEM caps are not right against them, so I screwed them back on. I believe a couple of others here have reported doing the same.

It seems like the overall total heat is about the same as with OEM bulbs, which are a lot hotter on the front but a bit cooler on the back, whereas the LEDs are way cooler on the front & a bit warmer on the back.

Very easy one of the easiest cars to remove the taillights from. Just two philip screws holding it in on the side that you can easily see and remove and pop, it comes out. Then just one connector connecting the assembly to the car which is easy to unplug from car. Then 4 torx screws (forgot size) to take out of the back of the taillight assemblies and then you can replace the bulbs with LED.

Thanks @Dylan ! My taillight screws were so tight that I used a socket the first time. I can't remember if the Torx screws were loose enough to use an Allen key, which sometimes works if you don't have a Torx bit handy.

T20 or a 1/8" SAE allan key will work if you are very careful. They were a little corroded and so on the tight side when I broke them loose.
