I am putting on my bell housing after a clutch install and the nut that goes on the post doesnt want to go on anymore. It is the only nut I have so I am sure it is the correct one, but maybe I stripped it? Does anyone know what size it is and where I can get a new one?

What exactly do you mean doesnt go on? because in the picture i see a nut threaded down to the stop. And the stud looks in good shape.

That picture was what it looked like before I took it off. That is why I am so surprised it doesnt go back on. I can only guessed I stripped it taking it off.

It is very unlikely that you stripped it on the way off. Unless it was a 1 off kind of phenomenon. It looks like a M12x1.25 but it is hard to tell through a picture. Take the nut to ace hardware( if there is one in your area) they should have one to match it. Double check and make sure the threads on the stud are clean, and not damaged.
