What do you mean by "sprayed with an antibacterial"?

Also, I wish they didn't force you to get the bigger wheels if you want the 360° parking sensors, blind spot monitor, etc. I personally prefer the 16" over the 17" wheels because they typically lead to more ride comfort, cheaper tires, and more range.

To your point about going down in wheel size and getting better acceleration, we'd presumably get better range, too. I'm curious to see how the EPA ratings will vary.

Thanks for keeping us updated, ETS! One thing I don't see any mention of is heated seats, which is a must-have for me up here in Massachusetts (and is something that was standard on the 1st gen car). Am I missing it somewhere? I see "Heated Windshield" but no heated seats. Strange...

Oh nice, hopefully they will come with heated seats here. Sorry to hear that IanML's doesn't have them.

I'm wavering about getting one. I love our gen-1, and there have only been a handful of times in the last 4-and-a-half years where the short range coupled with lack of DC fast-charging actually caused us any problems. We have another car, so these were instances where both cars had to be taken longer distances. It would be great to have the range of the gen-2 car, since that would cover every realistic situation for us. But is it really worth it?

Besides, the new one doesn't come in orange...
