Proxi Align is supposed to be in AlfaOBD somewhere, but there are so many menu selections I haven't been able to find it yet. If anyone knows, please let us know.

I've a problem with 500e imported from California same years ago (car is blocked 47% SOC battery after a recharge system problem...)
I'm try to connect to body computer via yellow adapter/elm327/alfaobd?
What's that Code card data (5 five digit) they ask me?
Maybe code key card?
Any help much appreciated.

When a 500e shows 47% on the gauge it usually means there is no power from the HV battery pack.

The car won't go into "D", & it won't charge, right?

If so, we'll get more help if we discuss it on a thread with an appropriate title, like maybe this one:

UPDATE: @Brettucks reported that the flashing odometer self-corrected after 3 weeks or so. I read once that some issues are cleared by 50 key cycles (minimum 2 minutes off) so maybe that's what did it:

And on cue after joining I have a question. The odometer blinks. I have seen 1- disconnect battery (possible replace, June 2020) 2- remove taillight? 3- turn hazards on and off? Lots of things suggested. Some seem silly. is this common if 12v battery is going bad?

CORRECTED UPDATE: @Brettucks recently reported that the "self-corrected" odo started flashing again.

He's having other issues that may or may not be related to requiring a proxy align.

My own odo started flashing recently. Just in case the @Brettucks issues really are related to that, I ordered the ~$150 worth of tools for a proxy align: $140 OBDLink MX+ & $10 yellow adapter. When they arrive I'll report back here with the results, good or bad.

 

CONFIRMED! No card code needed to fix USB port, flashing odometer, & de-paired phone with OBDLink MX+ & $10 yellow adapter (click here).

After code clearing I had to do proxy align 3 times for it to finish. Each time it got a bit further through its list in the 2nd-last pic.

& I had to UN-pair my phone & re-pair.

I added a few screenshots to the sequence in post #9 above, since I missed them the first time.

I forgot to take a shot of where it asks if you're sure you want to clear the codes, so I just wrote that in.

It's fine to clear them, since if they're real they'll come back on their own, & if not, they were just false alarms anyway. Plus they're auto-saved as logs in the app's device, accessible by plugging it into a computer. Click to enlarge, or scroll down:

$50 OBDLink SX cable works!

That is, if you have the $49 lifetime membership AlfaOBD on a device with USB (or USB-C & a ~$10 adapter)

You still need a $13 Yellow Adapter, but thanks to @jakjak for thinking outside the box, & posting his results, we now have a cheap solution:
