From what I gathered from a quick perusal on the "Blue Forum" they are NOT, in fact it seemed like they take a bit of sorting out to work correctly including resistors so the canbus doesn't think they're not working due to the LED's.

Here's a better video that shows the installation. I don't speak Italian, but the only thing I understood was "plug and play"

Looks like it requires some custom wiring, resistor(s), connector, etc. to be "plug and play", which I'm guessing the seller provided (wonder where he got them).

Thanks for the replies. Will need to do more research for this. In the mean time, I'll apply the red mirror caps with the rally stripes that I just ordered from UK.
