Lower door seal question

Hi
2015 abarth door seal question.
went to the dealer for service and asked that the leer door seals be looked at as they were sagging and visible with the door shut. The seal runs the length of the door at the bottom.

to repair, they used a black adhesive similar to caulking. I asked the service rep if there are any drain holes that may have been covered by the adhesive and obviously he said no. The seal was originally held in place by several plastic clips.

can anyone check and confirm how many drain holes there are and their approximate location? I see two; one at the front end ahead of the rubber seal and one at the back end after the seal.

thanks

Why not request a new bottom weatherbstripping. If the OEM one wasn't glue on from the factory. Wouldn't want water sealed in the bottom of the door...
This is the same reason that I don't think people should glue their side skirts onto the body sheet metal if they have snapped out of place on their Abarth, Turbo, Sport or E. They weren't meant to be sealed against the body sheet metal and if you do that and water still gets in you might rot out your rocker panels. You wouldn't even know that they are rotting until they would be beyond repair.

May I add, that the question really is why dealers do this sort of job and calling it okay. I thought my dealer might be the one of the minorities, but from the various posts, it looks like this is the culture. It does not give me a confidence in the capability of the dealer service.

And dont get me started on the rocker panels.
They were popping away from body near the front and rear. Went in twice to complete the job and it just popped again.
I am hesitant to bring it back since they may damage the paint and cause future rust. Grrrrrr
Will make a stop at a different dealer.

Double-side severe duty adhesive tape is probably the best fix for the rocker panels. Just make sure not to completely seal it up. Mine is coming off of the passenger side and when it's sufficiently peeled off, I'll get a roll of the back 3m and slap it back on. Bam, done.

Double-side adhesive tape probably could fix this weather stripping issue too, if used selectively. Either way, that drain hole needs to be opened up ASAP.
