Ok. I've had my Fiat for around 3 months and I've had to take it in 3 times for the following issue. I'll be driving and the car will suddenly shake and all of the warning lights will.come on, check engine is the only one that will stay on. I'm taking it in for the 3rd time. Someone please tell me.that this is a common, easily fixable issue that doesn't need to be taken to the dealership every time. Thank you.

Which year/model do you have and how many miles? I'd start by asking the shop what they have fixed on the 3 previous times. If it's not acting up when "repaired", shops (any brand of car) sometimes will just reset the codes and the car sent out as OK. Other times they'll make a guess, based on the codes... even to replacing the same part 2 or more times. With those issues, Fiat Cares can help coordinate a repair, if you are taking it to the dealer.
It would also be a help to run your own scan. Code readers are available for $30, most parts stores can read the codes, and most dealers will share the codes. That won't fix the problem, but it'll give an idea of what the car is reporting.

I have a 2015 fiat 500 and it will drive normal and then out of the dash a bunch of indicators come on, ESC, Hill start, Transmission, check engine, etc and the car starts to run rough almost dying *unless I rev the engine, seems like the transmission get stuck in the gear it was running at the time of the errors, cannot shift unless I turn the car off, it shift with a big hit, and back on again. Had all the coil packs & plugs changed, sparks, ECU, brake sensor, still doing the same thing.
Have you tested your battery? A dying battery will manifest through odd symptoms. Since you state that you have to rev your engine that might be pointing to a bad battery and or a bad alternator.
That is the latest test I had try, I have changed my battery this last week, 2 days were going great, but the faults appears again.
When I mentioned keep revs is to continue moving because the transmission get stuck in 1st or 2nd gear, is not turning turning off.

When I scan the faults I got the followings codes:
- U1404: Implausible Static Engine Torque Signal Received - Error Intermitent
- P1D84: ETC System Failure - Error Intermitent

Did you get your Fiat fixed? What was the issue? My 2013 recently has been doing the same as you describe. I also get a U1404 code, but no others.

lamentably not yet, my Fiat have severals weeks in the shop, the technician told me in few days the job is going to be done, but is something with the engine craftshaft position sensor. When I get the Fiat back I will give you the full feedback.
