Want to plastidip the rear handle cover and how to's on removing?

Do you mean the license plate light housing?

Take off the interior hatch cover. Bolts on from in side.

 

Open the hatch and remove all of the plastic clips. Remove the interior hatch handle using a torx bit. Once the cover comes off, you will see four nuts holding the screws from the rear hatch handle. Remove these nuts, disconnect the harness and the hatch handle will come right off. Should take about 20 minutes to do.

 

Open the hatch and remove all of the plastic clips.

Some of those plastic clips are a real b**** to remove. I tried it yesterday after reading your post.

But the effort may have paid off... I've been trying to isolate a very minor (but annoying) intermittent noise for months now, and may have found it after removing the inner hatch panel. About to go test drive it now – fingers crossed.
