I took my 2022 500e prima to a non-fiat garage for a service as no Fiat garage nearby, unfortunately they were unable to reset the service notification, does anyone know how to do this?

As there is a Security Gateway (SGW) built into the 2nd Generation 500e in a manner which prevents SGW By-Pass devices being used, only dealers or indies with the FCA WiTech2 tool can effect the reset.
I use an Alfa Romeo indie in Pershore with WiTech2 who could probably do this for you.
I believe there are alternative tools with functionality equivalent to WiTech2 in existence, but these are expensive and I'm not aware of any UK-based indie which has made the investment.
There is no current viable alternative to Witech2 in UK, so far as I am aware.

I absolutely agree, I had to take my 500E to Fiat for a 1st service after only 6 months, I thought it would be free but they charged a phenomenal amount for doing nothing. Let’s say that in euros it was around the 300€ mark. I’ve never been happy with the dealer and have absolutely no intention of returning nor being charged this kind of figure to remove the spanner.
Now I will get off my soapbox 😂

Its not cheap, but on the other hand, the outlook to not have to go to a stealership to make this simple service once a year is tempting indeed.
I rather send my money to Autel than to Stellantis aftermarket division.
And everybody should have the ability for a useful OBD-access of their cars.

As I stated in #4, an SGW by-pass can't be used on the 2nd gen 500e as its SGW isn't a distinct entity.
I believe the SGW functionality is contained within the Body Control Module(BCM) in the most recently developed FCA models including the 2nd generation 500e.

In UK, I've got a Mopar Service Plan and Extended Warranty for my La Prima and that is better value than investing in the Autel solution, I feel.
I'm 15 miles from a 'Stellantis For You' workshop which has just opened
In the event that a significant defect arises, then I might need to get Autel, but only then.
