I had the same problem. That car is bad news. I got rid of it. All these Fiat owners are misdiagnosing this problem. ITS THE MODULE. The dealer charged me $1300. Good luck. It drained my battery too. Aweful.. Stargaze, please get rid of that💩

I think I’m having the same issue — and that it is the module. Fiat has not been able to provide a replacement module in over 5 months. Do you have any additional info on this? Did you simply have the radio module changed?

Not sure if you’re still on this site, but would appreciate hearing from you if you receive my reply. Thanks

Hey Guy's and Ladies ,

I posted a fix for the flashing odometer sometime ago - It is a simple fix .

This works for me when I replaced my stock radio for a After Market Pioneer Double Din Radio.

1> Car is Off
2> Turn Key Accessory Mode but dont start the Car
3> Put the Hazard Lights on and then turn them off
4> Turn Key to Off Position
5> Take Key Out
6> Put Key Back in and ODO Mileage will stop flashing.

I hope this helps someone ......

Thanks.....
I had to do this twice, but it worked! My mileage was at 126,195. This is the first time this has ever happened. My Fiona is a 2015 Pop.
Thanks!

Mother comes home. Odometer blinking! Oh my God! What to do!!?? I read about disconnecting negative battery terminal. Go turn on ignition with it disconnected to drain remaining electrical charges. Turn off ignition. Reconnect negative battery terminal. Turn on ignition. Odometer no longer blinking. Says I to mom...."I'll send you the bill." (Dealer wanted 300 just to look at it.) Don't know if this will fix in the long term but she's old. How much time could be left..... :)

Had this problem spontaneously appear on my 2013 500e today. I turned off the car, waited for the contactor thunk, then disconnected the negative terminal of the 12V battery and reattached. The clock got reset too, but the odometer stopped flashing and Blu&Me started working again.

Hi
Same thing with me today. Found the 15amp OBD fuse in the glovebox had blown, replaced it everything fine now.

Hi Ed, what 15 Amp fuses are you referring to? I have a 2015 Fiat 500, North American model. There is no fuse box in in the glovebox.

Bought a fiat 500 few weeks ago with flashing odometer and non functioning Bluetooth. Tried disconnecting battery, but did not work. Replaced the blue&me module under the glove box with one from junk yard, blue tooth and USB work now but flashing odometer remains. Old module was hot/warm when removed (two three hours after engine shut off) hence the source of battery drain is found.

@johnsun

Hello, I just went through this same issue last week and fixed it. You have to do a Proxy Alignment to get the Body Control Module (BCM) aligned with the various components of the car, such as the Blue and Me module, so that the odometer stops flashing.
The proxy alignment was easy, and took a few minutes once I had the equipment and app.

Here is the thread

I have a 2015 Fiat 500 Sport
Today my Blue&Me stopped working and then the ODO started blinking I need help in solving the problem Please Help!!
Did you solve the problem?
I know this is very old but just had same problem with same model of car. I’m in Australia and dealer just said swapping out the blue and me for a new one would be $1250 😭

Going to try this later today. Its comes up first in the list of easy fixes when you search for the issue on Google. Essentially, a battery reset before proceeding to more costlier options.
